It's been a while

Well so that most of you know I have been going to school and taking 18 credit hours, trying to still be a mom, and wife. It has been one of the toughest semesters yet but somehow we all have survived. I am just hoping to get through finals week. My grandpa passed away the end of Spetember and that has taken its toll on me. Karson turned two and Doug had a birthday as well in Oct. So needless to say we have a busy life lately adn really nothing super fun although in Sep we went camping for the first time with our trailer and we had fun. So busy busy we have been but I will try to get pics taken over the holidays and post them for all of you.

GROCERY PARTY

New bed and a Big Boy

So I have wanted to get a him a new bed hoping that he would sleep in it and not in our bed anymore he took a nap in it and he loves to play in it anyways a lady on KSL had this bed so cute and so I called her and got it for $30.00 yeah me, but I hjad to scrub it clean it was pretty dirty and had crayon on it but doesn't it look good you can not even tell it is used well maybe a little but I am so excited, wish me luck for tonight.

Disney on Ice

So my mom decided to take the kids to Disney on ice adn My sisters decided that they also wanted to go and take their hubby's well as it turned out niether one of them ended up not being able to go so I got to go and one of Lexi's friend, I can not say thank you enough.

All the kids they were so excited to go, lots of fun!

Sledding

First of all we did this a while ago and it was so much fun. The kids all took a friend so there was 9 of us sledding well Kori's friend cut her finger not sure how and then both of the boys friends ended up in the river. There was mud everywhere but it wasn't like a flowing river just a little water at a stand still if anyone has ever gone to happy hollow in Kaysville you may know what I am talking about. Also one of their friends went off this jump that daxton had gone off at least 10 times prior to it and I was getting ready to and he hurt his back, I felt so bad and we haven't been since, yes he ended up being okay but was sore for a while.

Tub time

So I found a blog who was going to put pics up in their bathroom of their kids in the tub. I decided to copy this idea seeming how I will never find anything else to go with my decor what do you think?

Bread

So me and Mandy decided to attempt bread making adn here is what we ended up the 2nd time the 1st not so good but I am pretty pround adn it was very good. I must say I can eat homemade wheat bread.

This is Karson on his first fourth of July I just love him to pieces. We were at the parade and in the shade of course but occasionally in the sun that is why he had the hat on.

Happy Birthday to my boys!

Wow I can not believe that eight years ago I was having my fist c-section adn about to get double the joy, nervous, excited and scared. I am very proud of both them and the obstacles they have overcome. Dalton is so busy at trying to fix things, see how things work, always willing to help, I am very proud to have him as a son. He is also very smart and doesn't usually let things beat him but also very protective of his family and enjoys helping Doug do everything. Daxton well he doesn't take defeat very well, he can play a video game and have it figured out pretty quick, he loves to draw and create stories and I must say he is very good, he is also very cuddly still and I love that and he is more of a mommas boy than Dalton so that is GREAT. Well having twins has been one of my accomplishments in life and I am very grateful for both of them that they are healthy. I just wanted them to know how much I love them adn look up to each of them for what they do for me and this family. Eight years old is a big birthday, they will be baptised next month and they are excited. So I hope you have a faboulous day and know that Dad and I love you both very much.

Needed input

Okay so we moved almost a year ago and if you have ever been in my home you will know why I am asking this. I want to repaint but how in the world do you choose colors to paint? We just did our bathroom and YES it is purple and the trim is white, I will post pics as soon as I get everything all hung. So I need colors for my and doug's bedroom, the boys room, toy room (I want to put some of the chalkboard paint in there somewhere, my kitchen which is black antiqued cupboards and appliances and is also connected with the living room adn then my hall way upstairs and down, and then the kids bathroom downstairs should I paint it pink or orange and then white trim. I would love everyones ideas or websites to help me out. What colors have you put in your home. Happy Birthday Mandy!!!! late but worth it

I have no idea how to turn the pic so sorry. But since her husband was working she decided to spend New years eve with ME!!! So I made her dinner and it was YUMMY and I had lots of snacks and my sis in law gave her a haircut and it is way cute THANKS Laynie!!! I also made her dessert then next day yep she came over on her birthday which is the 1st of Jan also and she got homemade pumpkin cookies, adn a triple layer pumpkin pie.

Funny

Just another little Christmas present he got and loves it too. He sits and spins on it and it sings and makes lots of noise I am so happy that he loves it too.

Just to let everyone know that our little dog who hates little kids loves Karson or at least tolerates him for the safety of his life (lol) Karson got this car for christmas and loves it I don't thinkI will be able to put it outside when spring comes but thats okay, anyways he was giving him and ride and he thought it was too funny!!


So the other night I was working on homework adn Doug was putting a new window I think not quite sure now, adn when he came in the house we went to bed adn found this how cute!!!

Here is Karson trying to get in between the dog's they were playing and obviously he was having a great time too. So I know that most of you would think how gross adn are you serious but Karson loves to kiss the dogs and of course they lick him right back I think it is gross but cute at the same time, but hey they say a dog's mouth is the cleanest. I don't agree with that but it sure makes me feel better when they are licking my baby!

A little LATE

So here is a post about our holiday. Our kids got a Wii from santa and they have loved it, Karson got some other things seeing how he can not play it YET! He got a little tikes car, sit and spin zebra and then a sports thing. We got the kids some clothes and a few things we were all sick most of the time but seemed to recover just fine but let em tell all of you it is so awful seeing your baby throw-up and dry heave.
Doug's parents took everone bowling the day after Christmas and we had lots of fun!! I am not sure how I missed some pics of people but I did and two of my own kids. Thanks and we all had fun.
